PATTY ADAMS

Patty Adams has enjoyed a career in dance for over 30 years, allowing her to experience a wide field of creative arenas. From dance performance ensembles and musical theater to education and curriculum development, her knowledge base is extensive. Patty’s primary focus has been in the area of hip hop choreography and team preparation for competitive dance events.  She has consistently led teams to top ten placements, as well as numerous championships and innovative choreography awards. Patty originated and served as Head Coach of the Bartram Trail Dance Team, leading them to three consecutive national championships and then went on to coach the University of Central Florida KnightMoves Division IA Dance Team.  She currently serves as a Head Judge for NDA, UDA and The Groove Experience.  Adams has been fortunate enough to have been a member of the Hip Hop judging panel at the USASF Worlds since 2013 and recently was named Hip Hop Co-Director for the 2016 Worlds event. In addition to being a member of the USASF Judges Education Committee, she serves as a Keynote Speaker, Dance Library author and Mentor for USASF Dance. When not speaking at conferences or judging events, Adams and her husband enjoy helping children with special needs reach their goals through therapeutic horseback riding at their farm in the mountains of North Carolina.

 

CHRISTINA BOULDING

Tina Boulding has over 12 years of Competitive Gymnastics/Cheerleading experience with 5 Years of combined collegiate cheer experience at Kent State & Ohio State University. She also served as the Assistant Cheer Coach at Kent State University for 1 season. In addition to her cheering experience, Tina has over 10 years of cheer camp staffing experience, serving as the Director of camps for the last 6 summers. She continues to be a part of the cheer world part time serving as a choreographer, consultant, and founder of a cheer competition for charitable causes. She currently works full time as a recruiter for a non profit organization.

 

GLENDA BRODERICK

Glenda has been a part of the Cheer and Dance industry since 1986. As a coach and choreographer, she has serviced numerous all star cheer and dance teams as well as high school cheer teams. Glenda was the original owner and founder of Dance Mania, a prestigious dance studio based out of Melbourne, Florida. She has been an active judge for both cheer and dance for over 10 years serving companies such as NCA, UCA, UDA, American Championships, COA, All Star Challenge, Spirit Sports, Coastal and Cheer Power. Glenda is currently the South East Regional Director for the USASF.

 

DENISE BUZZINOTTI

A highly sought-after world judge and instructor, Denise Buzzinotti is a standout because she is equally qualified in both safety/technical and subjective scoring. Denise has been joyfully involved in the cheer and dance industry for over 31 years as a competitor, coach, consultant, keynote speaker, subjective judge, safety judge and head judge. She has been blessed to judge national, international and world cheerleading competitions for many of the top cheerleading companies across the world (from Disney World to London, England). She also teaches courses she has personally developed, geared toward the specific needs of judges, coaches and cheerleaders. Recently, she helped lead a coaching and judging conference for the British Cheerleading Association which she assisted in developing, designing and implementing. Denise holds certifications with the NCSSE, NFHS, AACCA, and USASF Safety Judges Training. Her personal highlights include being featured in an article on national competition judges in “American Cheerleader” magazine, and is a four-time USASF Worlds Cheerleading Judge.

 

CARLY BYMAN

Carly is a graduate of North Carolina State University and was a 4 year member of the NCSU Dance Team. Over the next several years she coached the Wake Forest University Dance Team as well as coached and instructed for Champion Cheerleading. She is an experienced choreographer in both cheer and dance. Presently, Carly is the General Manager of Premier Athletics Clayton where her Senior Hip Hop teams placed 7^th and 9^th at Worlds in 2011. Her judging experience includes WSF, Spirit Sports, Spirit Express, UCA and All Star Challenge (Head Judge).

 

TYLER FLEISCHER
As an all-star coach for the past six years, Tyler has acquired national rankings and a great deal of respect from all those with whom he has worked. He began his career as a competitive cheerleader in High School and continued to grow at the Collegiate level. Tyler is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Pittsburgh. While he is very talented and knowledgeable about the field of cheerleading, he excels in the areas of partner stunts and pyramid technique. Tyler has served as a cheerleading instructor for several years and a performance staff member of the Battle at the Capital, as well as being credentialed by USASF in levels 1-5. He currently resides in Morgantown, West Virginia where he is a graduate student at West Virginia University.

MIKE GAMBLE

Originally from Hartford, Connecticut, Mike hails from Philadelphia, PA where he garnered most of his dance training in West African, Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz, House, Breaking, and Capoeira. Mike has shared his incredible talents with many in a variety of ways through TV, Commercial, Print, and Video, as well as through UCA. In 2003, he moved to Los Angeles where he quickly became active in the commercial industry performing, dancing, acting, and modeling, in music videos and commercials. These performances paved way for opportunities to work with artists such as, Leela James, Chris Cornell, and India Arie, along with companies such as Target, Nike, Apple/Ipod, and Reebok. While Mike continues to enjoy being in front of the camera, he also focuses his talents behind the scenes in production and education through the arts.

In addition to his passion for performing, Mike has choreographed an Emmy-nominated children’s television program, produced and choreographed numerous events and shows. His love for spreading knowledge and the joy of dance has taken him on an international journey as he relocated in September 2009 to Gothenburg, Sweden where he is currently teaching master classes, workshops, and daily classes throughout Scandinavia, Europe, and around the world. He continually shares his gift of inspiration and dance with all whom he meets.

STACY GARRASTAZU

With over 30 years of dance experience, Stacy Garrastazu brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the industry. Stacy has coached and choreographed for numerous studios, schools, colleges, professional sports teams and all-star dance teams throughout her career. She has an extensive background in pom, jazz, contemporary and hip hop dance. Stacy travels nationally, attending competitions, conventions and workshops in order to stay at the forefront of what’s new and cutting-edge. Stacy’s teams have earned over 50 national titles and have held continuous top placement at the U.S. Finals. With Stacy’s ability to create superior routines and effective instruction, her teams have captured numerous local, regional and state championships. In addition to the numerous choreography awards Stacy is proud of, she is also a Dance Worlds alumni coach/choreographer. Stacy currently teaches master classes and choreography to select organizations and sits on the safety and judging panels for Varsity, JamBrands, JAMZ, Americheer/Ameridance, Champion Cheer Central, and the U.S. Finals. Stacy was recently selected for the 2014 USASF World’s Hip Hop Judging Panel.

JOHN HARTLE

John Hartle is the former cheer coach at Butler High School in Pennsylvania where he also taught English for 36 years. He has served as a panel judge and head judge for UCA regional and national championship competitions for High School and All Stars for over 15 years. John also worked as the Northeast coordinator for UCA’s Advisor/Coach training program for several years, has been a workshop presenter at the AACCA conventions and co-authored AACCA’s curriculum for cheer judge qualification standards.

• Former cheer coach of the National High School Cheerleading Champion Franklin Regional Varsity Cheerleaders whose squads have performed regularly on ESPN television
• Consultant and choreographer for some of the top high school and college cheerleading programs in the country today
• Current judge for the Universal Cheerleading Association’s National College Cheer and Dance, National High School Cheer, and National All Star Cheerleading Championships held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida and broadcast nationally on ESPN television
• Former judge for the California State High School Cheerleading Championships held in San Diego, California
• Rick has several years judging experience at the Regional and National Levels of cheerleading and dance competitions held throughout the USA

 

ANASTASIA MILLER

Anastasia is a former graduate and dance team captain from The Ohio State University. Upon graduating with her degree in Marketing, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a business career in the entertainment industry. For the past 14 years, Anastasia has been a talent representative booking choreographers, dancers, actors, athletes, and models in feature films, television, commercials, music videos, Broadway productions, and world artist tours. She was a senior agent at BLOC Talent Agency LA for 8 years and then took over BLOC NYC through 2008. After many years with BLOC, Anastasia became the Director of Choreography/Dance/ and Commercial Departments at Clear Talent Group NYC.   Her clients were booked in projects ranging from BEYONCE, LADY GAGA, MADONNA, JANET, ANCHORMAN 2, FOOTLOOSE, BLACK SWAN, STOMP THE YARD, STEP UP FILMS, IPOD CAMPAIGNS, TARGET, OLD NAVY, GAP, NIKE, REEBOK, GLEE, VAMPIRE DIARIES, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, DANCING WITH THE STARS, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, VICTORIA SECRET FASHION SHOW, GRAMMY’S, ACADEMY AWARDS…amongst countless others. Most recently, Anastasia has joined the team at Inside Publications as Associate Publisher; she enjoys having the opportunity to extend her experience as an entertainment professional with the launch of the all-access magazine titled INSIDE DANCE.

In 2014 Anastasia became the Outreach Director for USASF Dance and also continues her role as Hip Hop Director for Dance Worlds – a title that she’s maintained since 2013, along with previously being the Jazz Director from 2010-2012. You can also find her speaking at numerous dance & talent conventions across the US and internationally. She has judged for UCA/UDA, USA, NCA/NDA, Elite Cheerleading Inc., JAMZ, COP Brands, Cheer Sport, Varsity All Star Brands, Jam Brands, Starpower, World Dance Pageant, The Pulse, Monsters of Hip Hop, and The International Cheer Union Championships.

ROBERT E.A. POWELL

Robert has over 16 years of experience in the Spirit Industry. As a collegiate athlete at Kent State University he served as the captain and competed numerous times for KSU at college nationals. In addition to over five years experience teaching summer camps, he spent three summers serving as Co- Director of Cheer Ohio.  Additionally, he was the head choreographer for all the dance routines instructed at Cheer Ohio summer camps.  He has spent the last several years in the National Judging circuit judging for the JAM Brands. Most recently he returned from judging the U.S. Finals which are held in multiple locations across the U.S.  He choreographs and consults nationally providing creative solutions to exceed the needs of the squads he works with.  During the same time Robert was establishing himself in the Spirit Industry he also built a solid reputation at Urban Pathways, a charter school in Pittsburgh, Pa as a sixth grade math and science teacher. His dedication to excellence raised the achievement level of his students and quickly moved him into the role of Lead Teacher, culminating with the prestigious “Teacher of the Year” award. He is presently Head Cheerleading Coach of his high school team.

KENNETH TIPTON

Member of the nationally recognized Jungle Boogie Crew, as seen on America’s Best Dance Crew and So You Think You Can Dance. Quiet and adaptive are characteristics that resemble the Praying Mantis, the animal that Kenneth portrays in the crew. His dance style is footwork, a style that is native to the north. With a finance degree from North Carolina Central University, he was the last one to join the crew, after they debuted on Americas Best Dance Crew. Plenty of people call him Mantis for short, for being the “Praying Mantis” in an incorporated dance team. He is hard working and dedicated to his crew.

AMY TYLER

Amy Tyler of New Bern, NC, has 21 years in the All-Star Cheerleading Industry. A former gym owner of 18 years and former president of the National All-Star Cheerleading Coaches Congress, Amy enjoys stunt & skills choreography, cheer consulting, speaking at conferences and judging. Over the past two decades, she has judged for more than 17 different Cheerleading Companies at the National level including – WORLDS, NCA, UCA, All-Star Challenge, Cheersport, Spiritfest, American Championships, & All-Levels. Amy currently judges approximately 12-14 events a year.

 

WANDA BROWN WEIR

Wanda Brown Weir is the former 3-year Director/Choreographer of the NBA Washington Wizards Dance Team. Prior to joining the Wizards Dance Team, as a dancer in 2003, Wanda was a member of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders for two years. Mrs.Weir worked as an instructor/head instructor for Universal Dance Association for seven years while working as a territory manager for UDA and sales representative with Varsity Spirit Fashions. Wanda is also the former captain/choreographer of the fourteen-time national championed Towson University Dance Team.

For over ten years, she has judged for several local, state and national competitions including UDA’s National High School, All Star and Collegiate Championships, Dance Worlds, and NDA High School Nationals.

Wanda just completed her 3rd year as Head Coach for the GW First Ladies Dance Team and is currently the Operations Manager for Tippi Toes Dance DC and Director/Creative Director of Premier Dance DC.
